As you all may know, the Covid-19 Pandemic this year halted our in-person events and pushed everything to be virtual. Because of this, we incurred lower expenses than usual and would like to use this as an opportunity to donate a portion of our funds to a local charity.
Last month, we asked for your input regarding a donation to a local charity on behalf of our chapter. Out of the four organizations considered, Just Friends Columbus received over 40% of your votes! As a result, we will be hosting a one hour virtual meeting with the Executive Director of Just Friends Columbus, Jayme Zobrist. Please join us for this event to learn about the incredible impact the organization has on the community and watch as we officially present our donation.
