As many of you may have seen in local news outlets, the Clarion was sold in an auction in early July 2017 and with that, all bookings were cancelled from then on. This sale deals quite a blow to the South Central Indiana IMA chapter along with other local associations and businesses, as the site as a whole was an exceptional partner for rental space. With that said, the IMA Board has not let this unfortunate event deter us from our mission to provide quality CPE session through luncheon, half day, and full day sessions to our members.
In the following months while we continue to actively evaluate our options in the area, please be diligent and thorough in your reading of our flyers and calendar postings for events. We cannot guarantee that events from month to month will be held in the same location and that is why it is integral for you to note the location of each event individually. With varying locations also comes varying costs and while the chapter prides itself on providing quality CPE at a reasonable price, there may be a need for some locations to have a different pay scale than what we have had in the past. If there is a need to increase the price of any of our events, we will ensure to include this information in all of our communications about the event.
